Sum up of my 3rd week of September

Hi guys! Been really busy meeting people this week and yes,it's stay home weekend again! So yeah,will be writing all about my weekdays!

Monday

Met up with my senior Zaidi from my secondary school and had lunch with him at Khoo Teck Puat hospital. He's having his internship there! The last time I went there was when I had my dengue fever in June LOL. Anyway,I super love the environment there as it's like a garden and it's so clean and green! We had fish and co and I was kind of unhappy the dude didn't allow me to change my fries to mash potato (it's the same price) but Zaidi traded with me heeheehee.

After the short one hour catch up session,I went out with Kittima(my poly friend from Thailand) and we went shopping. I was really guilty when I got home because I withdraw $50 and I spent all of it. But the only condolence is that I bought Jiawen's birthday gift already hehehe. (Prepaid expense LOLOLOL)

I didn't take any pictures on Monday,totally forgot. :(

Tuesday

I finally met up with one of my friend whom I got to know during a vacation to Taiwan last December! It's so cool that we still kept in touch with each other,hurray for social networking accounts!

We planned to visit Stranger Reunion but when I nearly reached Outram Park,I did a check on my phone and realized it was closed on Tuesday. A literally FML moment I swear. A total fiasco for me.

We went to Kith's for lunch and I had big breakfast. Didn't have any food in the morning and I was starving!!

 I should have ordered scrambled eggs but I was kind of flustered at the point of ordering .. so I choose sunny side up. I didn't really think kith is worth the price as I didn't really enjoy my food. The bread was so hard like cardboard(I think it's meant to be like that) and I have to force myself to swallow down at least half of it to make myself feel as though I'm not wasting food..

There was this super cute Korean baby with his mother at the cafe too and she noticed that we kept coo-ing at her baby so she brought him to the table near us to let us take a better look. We even got to take photos with him!

 

Quite a blurry shot but it was love at first sight. 

 This photo of baby Louis and Liyan is super adorable!! Look at his cheeks!! I hope someday I will be able to produce such cute babies too. LOLOLOL. :D

Speaking of Koreans.. I seem to have affinity with them! Monica is Korean too. OK LA HALF KOREAN ALSO KOREAN OK. That time Dad and me got lost in Taiwan,there's also this nice Korean siblings who helped us. I love running man,which is a Korean variety show. OMG IS MY FUTURE HUSBAND GOING TO BE FROM KOREA?!!!

Yay a shot of Liyan and me! We then went to Plaza Singapura and Far East shopping mall and went home! Thank you so much for the wonderful day out and I appreciate you taking the time out to meet me!! :-)

Wednesday

I can't really remember what I did before meeting Saras for a swim at Yishun Swimming Complex in the evening but I think I watched several episodes of Running Man.

I had a really good swim! It's been so long since I last exercised and my muscles ached so much that night to the extent I can't sleep. Turn into LAO KOK KOK alr.. Sigh. Saras is so lucky to stay near the pool! I totally hate exercising except for jogging and swimming LOL.

Thursday
Met up with my dear Heidi for a photoshoot at Haji Lane and it was a total fail because the weather was totally horrible and I was wearing this maxi and I totally felt like dying. I wanted to capture like a colourful vintage kind of a photo but it was really hard as there are tourists and people everywhere!

 A fail artsy shot but there were dustbins everywhere.. Yes,Singapore. I get it. You're clean and green. Happy now? -_-

Yeah anyway I saw this cheesecake cafe on Instagram and I decided to check it out with Heidi since it's super near Haji Lane.

I ordered Banana cheescake with toffee sauce and whipped cream while Heidi ordered the Strawberry Cheesecake!

 It's so pretty right!! Anyway it was quite yummy and how I wished it was bigger! I could finish it in 2 bites but I act demure that day,eat bit by bit LOL. The special part is at the bottom! It tastes like cookies!! I think it is cookie lah because it's like so crispy and savory.

A decoration on the table. Guys,if you're looking for ideas what to give your girlfriend. Maybe this will be a good idea. You can put little messages inside the bottles for her to read. The flower fake one so it won't wither and she can keep forever,my idea not bad right? But you get heels thrown on your head,don't blame me cause it's really a cheapo idea LOL. But very artsy right like that. LOLOLOL.

The flavor I ordered is Banaoffee and it's not included in the menu yet. I think $3 for a cupcake is expensive  but it is pretty worth it if you just want a quiet place to sit and hang out with your friends. Plus if you are those type who like to take artsy food photos to post on Instagram,yes,$3 is super cheap. But I really feel super cheated by the fruit juice. I ordered apple juice and I thought it would be those freshly squeezed kind but it turns out to be those processed type. The moment the drink was in my mouth,I was thinking to myself,'' eh WTF this is like the peel fresh apple juice,those $1.10 kind from Fairprice" I was really annoyed by this. If I knew it's processed fruit juice,I might as well just order plain water right,healthier and it's free.

I was quite proud of my photo taking skills till Heidi pointed out I missed out the tip of her shoes. #Reasons why I'm not a professional photographer

Went Bugis street in the end and I promised myself that I can only get 1 item on this trip and I even told Heidi a few days ago to stop me from buying more than one item. But in the end,I bought one floral top and one denim skirt........

Friday

Met up with my dearest Syafiqah on Friday and we headed to Rochester Park's starbucks. It's somewhere located in Buona Vista. I decided to bring along my laptop as we have no plans but just hang out at Starbucks..

Actually,there is a story behind this whole Starbucks thing. Once upon a time,two young girls(actually not very young,we were like 12?) promised each other to stay in contact when they grow up and visit cool cafes and drink coffee and talk about life. 

HAHAHA this was in my bio-data book when I was 12. For those of you who don't know,bio-data is the very ''in'' thing we have during my generation. It's like Facebook in a notebook,basically you write down your name and phone numbers and addresses and stuff and you write a farewell message for your friend in the book too.  This was written by Syafiqah 5 years ago.. LOL

Presenting to you ... green tea cream! Actually it was a nice drink but it didn't make me go WOW because I had matcha mcflurry the night before and they taste very similar so I was kinda sick of that matcha taste.

Love my wallpaper on my laptop,it's a smiling Buddha and it has a quote,''All that we are is the result of what we have thought.The mind is everything.What we think we become.''

Doesn't colorful things make you happy? Usually colorful stuff tastes gross but this tastes like rainbow!! Finally not a sogurt virgin anymore! :-)

HAHAHA a candid photo which I find really funny. I think someone was walking towards us and I just find the entire happening hilarious. Syafiqah is trying her best to be impervious but you can see that she struggling not to burst out laughing in that photo.

Here's to finally relieving our childhood ''dream' and dreams really do come true as long as you make it happen. HAHAHAHAHA.

Shall end off with my OOTD. I wore a white bralet and a floral pants with my Firdina satchel bag(as seen in the photo with Syaf) and brown tribal sandals. The laptop case is a total coincidence I swear! Hurray to flower power!

How to spend a boring day

So Monica and me went to Priya's house on Friday! We've been talking about it during work during August and decided to walk the talk!

So yeah,me and Monica decided to get some food at AMK hub before heading to Priya's at YCK.

 

So we got frozen pizza,some junk food and drinks! I picked the Hawaiian pizza while Monica picked the Mozzarella one!

This was really yummy!! 

Spot that movie on the top right hand corner?? Can you guess what movie is that? 

Looks yummy right? But no one wants to touch my pizza and I even threw 2 pieces away in the end. :(

So yeah.. basically we just watched The Princess Diaries and snacked on our food..

I know this is a super boring post but I don't have anything interesting to update recently! Didn't really go out much!

Ps.This is not really a guide on how to spend a boring day but yeah,if you're really bored,you can just head over to your friend's house to watch a movie and chill out! You can save on money and find out more about your friend's style of living!

KSUITE + Dinner at fish n co

Do you enjoy singing? Actually I do(actually,everyone does to a certain extent),but I can't really sing. I always sing out of tune but I really loved expressing my emotions because songs are words I wanted to say to someone or how I felt but couldn't express in words.

Went singing with my poly friends(Denise,Monica and Venessa) on Monday! I met up with Monica first and we went to Orchard Central as I wanted to get myself a new cardigan but I didn't really see any I like.. I wanted to get one splattered with heart shapes so badly.

Anyway,we went past this stall and I stopped Monica because she hadn't get a birthday gift for one of our classmate yet. So this scarf seller... (I assume she's Indonesian) was promoting her scarves and Monica was seeking her opinion what scarves to get and she said Monica is very ladylike and I'm a tomboy.

I was wearing this demim jacket with studded leather black shorts with my new turquoise keds and so my outfit was rather punkish and rock-style. I was actually very offended. Like wtf,how can you judge my character by what I'm wearing?? I know everyone do that to a certain extent but it's so tactless to say that to your customer!!! :<

Oh yeah,while waiting for Venessa and Denise to arrive at Orchard,I helped a Caucasian lady to take her outfit photo and I complimented her and she said I was sweet hehehe.

I don't know if you guys could tell but I have a huge ass pimple on the north east south west of my face. Meaning, my forehead,my chin and one each on my cheek!

Here's an instant photo we took in the Ksuite room!

We initially wanted to take a group instant picture against the turquoise background but the person ask us to take with the sign and the end result is that it looks like a ridiculous awkward family photo... Actually Venessa and Denise looked like our bodyguards HAHAHAHHA.

I had so much fun singing(a lot of Taylor Swift,Avril Lavigne and chinese songs) and it was really fun as the last time I went singing was in sec 2! Like 3 years ago! I was so high that day I did crazy dances in the room. Okay maybe not really considered dancing but excessive waving of my hands.

We went to Fish and Co for our dinner as all of us were feeling extremely hungry!

 Fish chowder! This was really lovely!! It had a milky texture and it is somewhat like msuhroom soup but only better tasting with more milk. It has a very homely feel to it!

This is my first time at Fish and Co and here's my Baked Barramundi with Citrus Crust. All my friend's food arrived and my food was the last.. My friend fed me bites of their food to prevent me from dying of hunger. I secretly think Fish and Co hates me because I kind of exclaimed loudly,'' wah why only 1 waiter'' and I put all the barangs barangs on another table because I wanna instagram my food. LOLOLOL.

If anyone wanna go singing at a cheap rate,I would definitely recommend ksuite! It's only $10 for 3 hours for students! There's an outlet at Bugis and another one at Orchard Parade hotel(the one I went,less people cause the place is more ''ulu''). You can find out more at  http://www.ksuites.com.sg/ . In addition,I do recommend calling in advance to book first!
